GROUP CLASSES
Music-making definitely doesn't have to be done alone. While private lessons offer a context for highly individualized development at playing an instrument, group classes offer the opportunity to experience the joy of making music and collaborating with others. Danielle will be completing a Kindermusik studio ownership program this spring and will be a licensed Kindermusik educator and business owner in May! Kindermusik offers a world-renowned, research-based music and movement curriculum that enhances young children's development in a variety of areas--musically, socially, and even academically. Most children respond best to private piano instruction at age 7 or older, but sometimes a child or parent wishes to begin at an earlier age. Is your little one showing an interest that you want to let him explore? Do you have a desire to begin your child's musical instruction even if she is a little on the young side? If so, this class may be perfect for you and your child. Taught in a small group setting of no more than six student-parent pairs using a state-of-the-art Yamaha piano lab, this class introduces the young musician to fundamental concepts and skills that will lay a firm foundation and accelerate initial progress during later piano lessons. These fundamentals can be applied to the study of other instruments as well, and the group setting also helps develop social skills and ability to follow directions.
